  • Please be aware that various sources are sometimes using `harvested` email addresses to distribute their spam email.
  • We do not distribute spam email. If you have received a spam email which appears to be from us, it will be a fake.
  • We do not send random emails to anyone! We only send emails to existing client's.
  • We have seen emails being sent (even to ourselves) that were apparently from this business claiming to be able to do various things. We DO NOT send emails unless you are a client.
  • The spam emails are easy to spot, when you read the email they request you to reply to a different email address and it is contained within the spam email.

What should you do with spam email?

  • Do not open it if possible. It may contain a virus or some kind of spyware file.
  • Do not answer it ever.
  • Do not follow any links or return email links within the email.
  • Contact a professional IT business if you get it wrong!

How does spam work?

There are many ways in which people can distribute their spam. The most common way appears to be by `harvesting` email addresses from websites, forums and other similar places.

Your email address can also be compromised or collected by: guesswork, spyware/virus and other similar methods. You may well have given your address by responding or by `blogging` (writing a blog).

If other people have your email address in their address book and they have been compromised, then it is possible that your online address has been harvested/collected from their computer/s.

So I get spam and what should I do?

You can block it or ignore it, but unfortunately someone has your email address and they may miss use it! There is not very much that you can do at the moment, you could close your ISP/domain/subdomain account and start again.
