It is important consider the make and type of storage device. If the drive is internal you will need to check what ports are available on your motherboard. If the drive is external you will need to establish what interface the enclosure uses.

Dibtech Computers constructs our own external HDD enclosures using various types of storage device. The connection between the enclosure and the computer can be either: USB, eSATA or firewire.
